You otter get a new wallet (and an Irish guest!)

Open your purse, dump out your beach bag, dig through the bottom of your backpack. See that tired crumpled lump with the snap that no longer closes? That's your wallet. Does it make you smile every time you use it? Or is it logo-bestooned and so precious you're afraid to use it?

Whale, you better head over to Lulu's!

We just got in a boatload of Bungalow 360 wallets, in the most adorable and stylish prints. These Earth-friendly 100% natural cotton canvas wallets are as hard-working as they are cute. Designed to hold your bills, coins and credit cards, it's the perfect wallet for summertime. Take it to the beach, take it to the golf course, take it to LULU'S! Hurry up, y'all, the last bunch of these flew outta here faster than ice cream sundae cones at Southern Sweets on an August afternoon!

Last month, a very special visitor dropped by Lulu's. It's Clive, a Goldendoodle from Dublin, Ireland who works as an Autism Assistance Dog for an 11-year old boy named Murray. Last winter, Murray's family saw photos of beautiful Beaufort on our pal Petey's blog which lead to a summer vacation on Hilton Head. And of course, no trip to Beaufort is complete without a stop at Lulu Burgess!

Being European, Clive greeted me with a kiss on each cheek. He was a perfect gentleman.

He then came behind the counter to show us the difference between Euros and U.S. Dollars.

He's as squishy and huggable as one of our Jellycat Stuffed Toys. As I hugged him, I kept expecting to find a tag!

As the dog days of summer roll on, feel free to bring your (well-behaved) pooch into Lulu's for a cool drink and a biscuit. You never know, he or she may be a real bargain hound!

  2. Loving our photos of Clive on your blog! As for well behaved pets - well, are there any other kind! Not with service dogs anyway, we are delighted to say that Clive showed just how great service dogs are and the huge difference they can make to kids with autism!

  3. Hi there Lulu!
    GREETINGS FROM SOUTH AFRICA!
...and thank you for stopping by our blog. It's so nice to be able to put a name to a face - and especially thrilling to know that Clive and Murray stopped by your beautiful shop. I wish I was closer and could also pop in.
    Take care and lotsaluv
